An inspiring section of the Jordan Trail, named as one of the 15 best hikes in the world, starting at high mountain plateaus down to Araba Valley and climbs up again, crossing diverse ecosystems hidden in canyons, several climate zones, and presenting new landscapes every few kilometers. The route ends with one of the world’s seven wonders, Petra. Taking us through just what was meant to be seen in Petra for one day.
Welcome to Jordan, Make your way to your hotel in Amman the Capital city of Jordan. A city full of life, mixing the ancient with modern city life.
After an early breakfast we take a bus from Amman To Dana biosphere Reserve (3 hour transfer). Starting our Trek from Dana Biosphere Reserve with its various landscapes, taking the scenic route overlooking Araba Valley and Dana Valley all the way to our Wild Campsite in Mansoura Area.

After a good nights sleep, We start our trek to Forun Area on the panoramic trail overlooking Araba Valley and Al-Sharah Mountains to our camp site in Forun Area.

We leave our Campsite passing Ras Al-Faid along a rocky sandstone terrain. Throughout are spectacular varying views of the barren desert landscape with surprise encounters of desert vegetation and animal life.

With an early rise and breakfast, we continue trekking to little Petra, Approaching Little Petra there are signs of increasing human habitation of Bedouin camps, sheep pens, and small agricultural plots. We enter a small sandstone canyon and wind our way through to the site of Beidah.

Starting right at Little Petra entering Petra though “The Back Door”, following an ancient Nabatean route out of the valley and around the mountains, suddenly viewing “The Monastery”, following the Nabatean steps leading into ancient Petra right before reaching “The Treasury” and through the “Siq” to the visitor center and into Wadi Musa and to your local lunch before heading to Wadi Rum for the night.

After Breakfast enjoy a 4x4 Jeep tour exploring the the Deserts Bridges, rock formations and Nabatean inscriptions. Taking the time to explore more of the valleys and hills on foot.
Leave the Desert and head to The Lowest Point on Earth (4 hour transfer). The Dead Sea, where you'll try the magical Dead Sea mud and effortless floating in water 10 times saltier than any other Sea.
After a relaxing time in the Dead Sea, we will leave back to Amman (1 hour transfer), checking in to your hotel for the last night in Jordan.
