Embark on an unforgettable 14-day adventure through the majestic Annapurna Circuit. Experience breathtaking landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and rich cultural heritage as you trek through picturesque villages, lush forests, and high mountain passes. From the vibrant streets of Kathmandu to the serene temples of Muktinath, each day brings new wonders and experiences.

Itinerary

Activities: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel, and rest.
Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 meters / 2,493 feet) (9/11)

Distance: Approximately 170 km (6-7 hours’ drive)
Activities: Scenic drive through the countryside to Besisahar, the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Besisahar

Day 3: Drive from Besisahar to Chame (2,710 meters / 8,891 feet) (10/11)

Distance: Approximately 66 km (4-5 hours’ drive)
Activities: Continue the journey by road to Chame, passing through picturesque landscapes and villages.

Day 4: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300 meters / 10,827 feet) (11/11)

Distance: 15 km (9.3 miles)
Hiking Time: 5-6 hours
Activities: Trek through forests along the Marsyangdi River, with views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Pisang

Day 5: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540 meters / 11,614 feet) (12/11)

Distance: 18 km (11.2 miles)
Hiking Time: 5-6 hours
Activities: Choose between the upper route via Ghyaru or the lower route through Hongde. Visit Barge Monastery en route to Manang.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Manang

Day 6: Acclimatization Day in Manang (13/11)

Activities: Explore Manang, take short hikes to Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake to aid acclimatization.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Manang

Day 7: Trek from Manang to Leder or Yak Kharka (4,200 meters / 13,779 feet) (14/11)

Distance: 9-10 km (5.6-6.2 miles)
Hiking Time: 4-5 hours
Activities: Ascend through alpine landscapes, passing by yaks grazing in the meadows.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Leder or Yak Kharka

Day 8: Trek from Leder or Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450 meters / 14,600 feet) or High Camp (15/11)

Distance: 5-6 km (3.1-3.7 miles)
Hiking Time: 3-4 hours
Activities: Continue the ascent towards Thorong Phedi or High Camp, preparing for the pass crossing.

Day 9: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416 meters / 17,769 feet) to Muktinath (3,800 meters / 12,467 feet) (16/11)

Distance: 16 km (9.9 miles) trek, plus descent to Muktinath
Hiking Time: 7-9 hours
Activities: Start early to cross Thorong La Pass, the highest point of the trek. Descend to the sacred town of Muktinath.

Day 10: Drive to Tatopani (1,190 meters / 3,904 feet) (17/11)

Activities: Enjoy a scenic drive to Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs, offering a relaxing break after the trek.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Tatopani

Day 11: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850 meters / 9,350 feet) (18/11)

Distance: 15 km (9.3 miles)
Hiking Time: 6-7 hours
Activities: Ascend through terraced fields and forests to Ghorepani, situated in the lush foothills of the Annapurna range.
Overnight: Teahouse or lodge in Ghorepani

: Early Morning Hike to Poon Hill (3,210 meters / 10,531 feet); Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540 meters / 5,052 feet); Drive to Pokhara (19/11)

Activities: Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise views over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Descend to Tikhedhunga and drive to Pokhara.
Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (20/11)

Distance: Approximately 200 km (6-7 hours’ drive)
Activities: Return to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic drive through rural landscapes.

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

Activities: Transfer to the airport for departure
